Reader comment on item: U.S. Improvising on Security Five Years After 9/11
in response to reader comment: Ahmed Zadfire: Jesus preached peace and love not war and destruction

Sir,

As well written as your article may be, it is completely baseless. Islam "spread by the sword" but most of its expansion came about after the death of Muhammad.

Also, how much do you even know about Jesus' preachings? As far as the history books have it, Paul is the author of the Bible and he had not even met Jesus, let alone be influenced by his teachings. Saying that, I do not deny the foundations of Christianity based on peace. But it is fallacious of you to base your argument on misguided information regarding Islam.

You, like millions of others, seem to be guided by prejudice, judging 1.2 Billion Muslims according to the acts of a dozen fanatics. That would be akin to Muslims labeling all Christians murderers and barbarians on account of Hitlers policies.

Before pointing fingers, sir, I suggest you do your homework. It is the intolerance and ignorance of people... that the world is where it is in terms of religious intolerance.
