By a stoke of good fortune, I attended Dr. Pipes' presentation at the University of Cal;ifornia Berkeley on February 10, 2004.
In distributing a paper I have written on this shocking and terribly sad incident, I have discovered that a rumor exists that in another venue(s) the "tables had indeed been turned" and that Jewish students meted out essentially the same treatment to Muslim speaker(s) that Dr. Pipes (and the Jewish students in his audience that night), received at the hands of the militant Muslim students in Berkeley last February. It is hard for me to believe such a rumor.
Is there any truth to such a rumor? Are there specific dates and places relating to such incident(s), if such a rumor(s) is (are) actually true? Are any details available for such event(s), if in fact one (or more) transpired?
Cordially,
James A. Willson
