Thank you for so eloquently expressing this observation about the surge of violence among Arabs since 1970. More precisely, I think the oil exploits gave the Arabs, for the first time in their history, the "means" to "massively assault" the Jews. The attitude of annihilating the Jews has always prevailed in Arab peoples ... but efficient methods and technical equipment to do so came forth in the past century, especially by the British pre-1948 and Russia thereafter.
