Ancient Berber alphabet

I was quite surprised to learn recently that the Berbers were one of the first people in the world to use the alphabet. Ancient Berber had its own alphabet, very similar to the original Phoenecian one. You can read more about it (and other writing systems) at an excellent website: omniglot.com
