Deuteronomy 4:27 And the LORD shall scatter you among the nations, and ye shall be left few in number among the heathen, whither the LORD shall lead you.

This verse clearly shows that God cursed them sSo that his curse will make his former blessings ineffectual.

This verse also clearly shows that the jews are not allowed to have their own country
