Thanks once again to Daniel Pipes for presenting another enlightening article.

Interesting - the Muslim euphoria over Obama juxtaposed against Muslims who wanted McCain, because McCain gave credence to the "Great Shatan". Muslims want Obama because they believe he supports their cause; Muslims want McCain, because he supports their case.

While Obama did indeed run as a center-left, he did so only to win the election, in my view.

Last week, the US Ambassador to the United Nations Zalmay Khalilzad told the UN Security Council about Iraq's latest statistics: civilian deaths down by 80% since June 2007; US military deaths down 87%; Iraqi security forces deaths down 84%; number of people killed as a result of ethnic and sectarian violence down 95%. Additional signs of the improvement in Iraq's security situation: an 81% decline (again, since June 2007) in detonations of improvised explosive devices (IEDs), and a 72% drop in suicide bombings.

Obama neglects to admit the "Surge" has worked in Iraq. He is adamant we should never have "invaded" Iraq. Why? We had "unfinished business" in Afghanistan.

If anyone believes Obama believes that, I've got a bridge in Brooklyn to sell.

As soon as he gets into office, he will put his Marxism where his mouth is; embrace the Muslim community both here and abroad; de-weaponize space, cut our military in half (as Clinton did); which will please the pro-McCain Muslims. We'll be a sitting duck.

I'm betting all the Muslims will be happy.
