While reading this article I find myself asking I wonder if this guy has ever watched Al-Jazerra or is he just taking his talking points from all the talking heads? I suspect the latter. Need I remind you that Colin Powell said that there were WMD in Iraq. I would hardly hold anything he has to say up as fact.
As someone who watches a great deal of news coverage I find Al-Jazeera to be the least biased and most informative news channel out there, we in Canada are lucky to have it. It may not be nice to see bombed out villages in Iraq and the devestation caused by war but it is reality - a reality that is never shown on our American "hard hitting" news channels such as Fox and CNN and rarely makes it to CBC. Al Jazeera shows this because it is important, and as a party - some would argue perpetrator - involved in the clamity that is Iraq, these stories should be shown to a western audience.
Al Jazeera's unbiased reporting of the news without the American spin on everything is a valuable source of information from the Middle East and the ongoing Iraq War.
My final comment is Al Jazeera has been nominated for 2 Emmies for International News and Public Affairs and therefore therefore there are some prestigious parties who share my opinion.
