Excellent post!Reader comment on item: Debating the Khalil Gibran International Academy Submitted by Devasahayam (United States), May 31, 2008 at 10:33 BTW, the similarity of communism and Islam (both "religions" based on hatred) down to the symbols (hammer/scythe and crescent/star) removes the element of surprise from the nexus between communists and Islamists. The only difference in them is that communism deifies "the system" (with an elite set of generally self-appointed leaders equivalent to "prophets" and "priests") while Islam follows a (false) god.
