Regarding the NakbaReader comment on item: Debating the Khalil Gibran International Academy Submitted by Merowe (Germany), Jun 1, 2008 at 11:43 'I pointed out to the mayor (and cc'ed it to Hooper) the similarity between "Palestinians" and mohajirs--both are "refugees" only of their own hatred' I think the technical term for this is 'blaming the victim' but perhaps I'm mistaken. Are you suggesting several hundred thousand Palestinian Arabs left their ancestral homelands, their farms and villages, all their possessions - because of some historical 'hatred' towards Jews? As opposed to having the good sense to get out of a war zone, with the thought that they would return once the violence was over, as millions in conflicts around the world continue to do? Whatever. You might want to read up on Ben Gurion and 'transfer', but be warned, you risk bursting your bubble.
