Thank you, Dr. Pipes, for your intelligent and unruffled response to Leonard Fein's query on whether or not you still plan to appear at the CUFI conference.

Personally I do not share John Hagee's pronouncement of why the Holocaust happened--- frankly, it is outlandish, false and shockingly stupid. However, he does love Israel, so we must forgive him. "And I will bless them that bless thee, and curse him that curseth thee; and in thee shall all families of the earth be blessed." (Genesis 12:3). What was written in the Scriptures still holds true to this day, that the Jewish people, and the land and people of Israel is blessed by God forever.
