Examples of obsolete and harmonious versesReader comment on item: A Muslim reformation? Submitted by Mahendra Mathur (Trinidad And Tobago), Apr 15, 2008 at 08:40 What follows are two examples of obsolete and harmonious verses in the Quran. Both are from Surah 2. 39. But those who disbelieve and belie Our Ayât (proofs, evidences, verses, lessons, signs, revelations, etc.) such are the dwellers of the Fire, they shall abide therein forever. 256. There is no compulsion in religion. Verily, the Right Path has become distinct from the wrong path. Whoever disbelieves in Tâghût and believes in Allâh, then he has grasped the most trustworthy handhold that will never break. And Allâh is All-Hearer, All-Knower. Reasoned disagreement is welcome but not comments that are scurrilous, off-topic, commercial, disparaging religions, or otherwise inappropriate.
