No creative ideas in islamReader comment on item: The Palestinian Economy in Shambles Submitted by Phil Greend (Canada), Apr 3, 2008 at 18:18 If the oil and gas money was not in the Middle East, what would the area look like ? It would be empty, no new ideas or inventions have come out of the islamist countries in decades or even centuries. Free thought and creativity are violenty suppressed. This is one of the reasons why democracy is not such a big hit as we thought it would be in Iraq. People have been raised not to question or to think for themselves. This is one of the reasons the islamist run countries have invented nothing and the West has invented so much. The people of islamist countries need to start to think for themselves if they are to have any hope.
