Wasn't that the point?Reader comment on item: The Palestinian Economy in Shambles Submitted by jennifer solis (United States), Jan 18, 2008 at 00:20 Mr. Ken Besig, You seem to have quite a brain, very articulate and well-informed, but aren't your comments supportive of Daniel Pipes' article? Contribution, support of any kind contributes to the problem, whereas forced individual self-determination liquidates it? The individual Palestinian has acclimated himself into the Israeli population and has benefited by it, while to those Palestinians adhering and supportive towards their own leadership, the power showered onto their leadership has proved detrimental. Daniel Pipes has hit the mark with this article. Note: Opinions expressed in comments are those of the authors alone and not necessarily those of Daniel Pipes. Original writing only, please. Comments are screened and in some cases edited before posting. Reasoned disagreement is welcome but not comments that are scurrilous, off-topic, commercial, disparaging religions, or otherwise inappropriate.
