TO Ahmad Zafire: Here are the differences between Muslim countries and the rest of the civilized world
Reader comment on item: Jewish Life in an Increasingly Muslim Europe
in response to reader comment: SO..SO..TRUE!!!

  • Everyone in America, Europe, and the rest of the civilized world is living in the 21st Century, and has dramatically changed the way they think, live, and act, while millions of Muslims are retrogressing back to the ways of the 7th Century.
  • Slavery ended in America in 1863, but it is alive and well in the Muslim world in 2008.

  • People of all faiths in America have equal rights -- especially Jews -- while there is not even equal rights for all Muslims in Muslims countries. Muslims are the only life forms on Planet Earth that consider Jews to be the "descendants of apes and pigs".

  • Women in America have the same rights as men, whereas women in Muslim countries are still treated as property, and even in "moderate" countries their rights are nowhere near those of men.

  • Children are considered the most treasured resource in America, whereas in many Muslim lands, they are used as cheap labor, human shields, human bombs, and political tools after death. Even their dead bodies are shown no respect.

  • The Crusades were started to stop the bloody, imperialistic conquest of Europe by Muslims. The last Crusade ended 800 years ago while the bloody, imperialistic conquest of the non-Muslim world has never ended, and continues today unabated. Then, as now, the ultimate aim of the "modern" Muslim jihadist is world conquest and a world caliphate.
  • Anti-Semitism is making a comeback in Europe SOLELY because the irrational and virulent hatred of Jews in the Muslim world has infected everyone in the non-Muslim world who are too morally weak to say, "No," to Muslims who spew this filth daily, who demand that European governments give them special treatment, and who refuse to abide by the laws of the land in which they live.
Finally, it is a favorite tactic of Muslims and Muslim apologists to go backwards hundreds, even thousands of years in history to find an outdated event to which they can draw a modern parallel. Let me conclude by saying that Muslim countries have NEVER APOLOGIZED FOR THEIR WRONGDOINGS, LET ALONE ADMIT TO THEM. They would much rather blame it on "the Zionist Conspiracy," or some other, nonsensical idea.

Until the Arab and Muslim worlds admit their errors and bad choices, stop looking for scapegoats, and make a conscious and concerted effort to join the rest of the human race and act like civilized, 21st Century citizens, there will be nothing but despair, hatred, mindless violence, bloodshed, and poverty for them,

They need to begin by eradicating the Hadith that calls for every Muslim to kill every Jew.

They then need to admit that they were wrong in launching wars of extermination against Israel in 1948, 1956, 1967, 1973, and in al the intifadas that followed.

Next, they have to take FULL RESPONSIBILITY for creating the refugee crises of both Palestinian Arabs and Jews who lived in Arabic countries,

FOLLOWED BY a final resolution to them by allowing Palestinians to become citizens of any country of their choosing, and by abandoning the bogus "Right of Return" which was a thinly-veiled attempt to destroy Israel from within.

FINALLY, they have to treat everyone, and ESPECIALLY JEWS, with respect, granting them all of the freedoms that they desire for themselves, and to defeat the movement within their own ranks to convert the world to Islam.
