Dear Sir:
I thought that was the goal of the US: free the Iraqis and help the Iraqis rebuild
their government and eventually turn the power over to them and "get the heck
out of that hell-hole"!!!!!
As an American citizen, I am proud of President Bush and our government who
took the terrorist war back "in their face". Saddam was paying suicide bombers
in Israel to kill american citizens visiting the Holy Land; Saddam was trying to
rebuild his nuclear reactor while trying to purchase nuclear materials; and it
is obvious that he paid anybody who wanted to attack the US. Especially after
9-11 we could not take any more chances of a terrorist attack on the homeland,
or our people all over the world.
However, after those two-faced ungrateful murdering ... in Iraq are constant-
ly attacking and killing their liberators with roadside bombs, ambushes and grenade attacks,
I say we should get out as soon as possible, but reserving the right to next time
bomb them ...
This country does not want to occupy that piece of ... land in the middle east but
had to intervene to protect not only our homeland, the innocent iraqis that
were oppressed by Saddam's evil regiem, but to act to try and bring peace to
the world.
