Sir

I agree that the Iraqis should run Iraq. And we know how. The most ruthless killer trained in the spirit of the Ba'ath, Nasser, Arafat, Assad, etc... will take over. Simply because he is the least scrupulous.
Remember, the Middle east rules are Hama rules

People who operate under the aegis of a Higher Authority, such as Americans, Britons, Israelis, cannot rule Arabs, because of that very sublime character flaw.
Conscience.

Iraq, after the dismantlement of its WMD potential, is no longer an American issue.
The Palestinian, or Iraqi issues, are not worth a single American life.
Nor is Israel.
Let the Israelis deal with the Arabs. They are local. They know the territory, the language, the mind-set. America obviously does not.
