If We Level Charges Against Iran, Then We Expose America to Similar Charges

The Reagan administration financed and trained the Nicaraguan Contras who committed numerous, well-documented terrorist attacks within Nicaragua. The U.S. also continued to aid Saddam Hussein after we knew that he had terrorized the Kurds with WMD.

If we take legal action against Iran for its support of Hamas, we leave ourselves open to similar legal action.
