sad conclusion

1 Timothy 6:10,. . ."the love of money is the root of all evil . . ." It is the love of money, not merely money, which causes men to err. So I assume that some money has passed from one hand to the next to the next, until the recipient obtained his filthy lucre. That seems to be the way of the world and has always been, although most scrupulous people avoid bribery like the plague. We will probably never know the answer to this or a thousand other imponderables, but somewhere along the line there will be some who will get their just desserts.
