Condi Co-Opted By America's Permanent Foreign Policy Establishment [PFPE] ; She No Longer Represents or Defends The Sound, Rational Positions That Got Bush Elected.

Reader comment on item: Washington Protects the Terror Masters

Alas, Foggy Bottom has won again - and American Foreign Policy has recidivated back to the same weak stupidity that ignored Islamist Fascist Terrorism for 28+ years, and enabled Arafat, AhmediNejad, OsamaBinLauden, Hamas, Fatah, Hizbullah and other Terrorist Entities to gain ascendancy over "Moderate Muslims" worldwide.

The PFPE have always been wrong; Wrong at Pearl Harbor, wrong on the Cold War, wrong the War on Terror, "Arabist" in their leanings and policies, anti-Semitic and, incidentally, anti-American whenever America's Legitimate Interests are up against the UN and/or any useless "Kleptocracy" they can find to fund.

The Bush Administration filing Amicus Briefs with the Iranians, PLO, and other demonstrable Terrorist Entities against Americans with righteous causes, is not only a disgrace - it is another foolish recipe for disaster. We're back to the craven "inaction" the [mostly Hate-America-First] PFPE consistently "recommend" in dangerous situations where strong, rational, Judicial or Military responses are obviously required, enabling our enemies to organize and recruit, multiply, arm, re-arm and gather strength.

GW Bush must know in his gut that these [HIS] "new" policies being done concurrently with "The [successful] Surge" are counterproductive. It appears his "sister" Condi has "freaked", "caved", and "submitted" to the PFPE, as did Powell before her.

Rice appears to have set aside her [and GW's] better judgment, allowing the Bureaucracy of the Department she is supposed to be directing to reflect the Elected President's Policies to overrule her - and unfortunately, the President she is serving badly these days.

As a strong "Bushie", I am appalled and disgusted! I see little difference between Condi's recent frenetic performance as SecState and the bankrupt policies of Clinton, Sandy Burglar, Madeline Dim-wit and alas, Richard Armitage and Colin Powell. mariana
