The only reason I knew to research this story was Ron Paul

It's only because he mentioned it off-hand as an outrage during the GOP debate that I googled for it. WOW! More than 10 times larger than our largest embassy! and all of it done in secret. You have to almost admire GWB for the way he stabs the American people in the back! The GOP hardliners all say that traditionally you have to support a president during a time of war. Perhaps this is the reason GWB attacked Iraq?
