US Embassy in Baghdad = Regional Headquarters of US Imperialism
Reader comment on item: "The Largest Embassy Ever Run by any Country"

Submitted by Romesh Chander (United States), Apr 18, 2008 at 12:30

Britiain ran its imperial empire in South Asia and the Middle East from New Delhi (India). US is going to try to run its Middle East/Central Asia/South Asia/Africa empire from Baghdad. Unfortunately, US Empire there is doomed from the beginning -- it is finding it very hard to establish itself there. Good luck.

I am afraid, US will abandon its embassy there, just like it abandoned Saigon (Vietnam) in 1975.
