The easiest way for Newsweek to fix their problems -Reader comment on item: Newsweek's Jaw-Dropping Erratum Submitted by Wayne Wagner (United States), Oct 12, 2007 at 12:16 is simply to declare that they aren't a newsmagazine any more but a satirical periodical. They wouldn't have to alter how they write, change personnel, or run any more corrections, save one: admit that what is published in Newsweek really shouldn't be taken seriously. Note: Opinions expressed in comments are those of the authors alone and not necessarily those of Daniel Pipes. Original writing only, please. Comments are screened and in some cases edited before posting. Reasoned disagreement is welcome but not comments that are scurrilous, off-topic, commercial, disparaging religions, or otherwise inappropriate. For complete regulations, see the "Guidelines for Reader Comments". Comment on this item
