In a way, you can look at this as a sort of compliment. I agree with your analysis, and this 'error' speaks volumes about Newsweek's worldview. Still, if these boneheads are gunning for you, you are probably doing/saying something right!

You're wrong that Newsweek presents all conservatives as alike - only one has a distinguished looking beard!
