The Enemy of Our Enemy is NOT Necessarily Our Friend

Reader comment on item: [Mujahedeen-e Khalq:] A Terrorist U.S. Ally?

Submitted by Kenneth Stahl (United States), May 21, 2003 at 10:05

MEK is opposed to the mullahs of Iran. This is all well and good. However, the essential question is, "Where do they stand with regard to Islam and the concept of an individual's right to his own life?"

One need know only one thing about Islam. It sanctions (read moderate Moslem), demands (read fanatical Moslem), the murder of the apostate.

Where does MEK stand with regard to this particular example of barbarism?
