Mr. Danel Pipes, I don't agree with your view on SADAM. Though he is a dictator, he is not a hard core islamist and also a modern secular ruler. if you don't like this kind of man then you have no other choice but to ally with muslim brotherhood and hamas, because they are the only alternative in midle east.

I do not think Saddam Hussein was an Islamist. Nor do I accept the choice of a Stalinist thug or Islamist thugs. I have higher expectations of Middle Easterners than that.
