Peace be upon you, Dalia,

You are making a grave error in your assessment of your Muslim brothers' attitudes and desires. The vast majority of Muslim citizens in the USA are not of the violent jihad pedigree -- indeed your forebearers probably came here to escape that very culture. However, that small minority who does support the global jihad has 150-200 million clients and would-be clients worldwide. Entire populations are mobilized for our destruction -- specifically excluding conversion or subjugation. That is a fact and to deny such would mean that you are either truly gullible and lost or that you are party to that scheme.

We have Hezbollah and AQ elements networked across this country and hemisphere with designs great and small against us. There probably hundreds of inspired actors dreaming of the time when they can take up arms and do us great harm (look at the gang of seven in Miami who wanted to destroy the Sears Tower, the guy just arrested in Chicago, the college kid who drove his SUV across the UNC-Chapel Hill student quad in an attempt "kill infidels" -- his words).

Just because you do not know of these plots and conspiracies does not mean that the larger sunna is not participating or actively or passively supporting it. It is not unheard of, either, to say that once-genuine organizations may be or certainly have been co-opted to portray a more pleasant facade in order to delay effective defense or retribution. I believe that CAIR fulfills that role -- whether they mean to or not. The intentions of the unwitting tool are irrelevant.

As for the Alexandria library, we don't know how or even when it was destroyed, but since conquering Muslim armies usually destroyed everything that smacked of pagan literature (since it didn't agree with the Koran or Sharia or Haditha by reasons of forwarding the wrong faith, pure academia or other non-religious -- non-Islamic -- learning, it is entirely possible that Muslims did it. So, don't go squashing dissenting opinion especially since you are asking the same of us (us being kufar).

Are you a convert or a Muslim by birth (as in, did you have a choice)?
