Mullah in Taxis?

Reader comment on item: Don't Bring That Booze into My Taxi

Submitted by Wiley Freeman (United States), Oct 10, 2006 at 17:15

I called the Minn-St Paul Airport and spoke with Mr. Pat Hogan. I was told that the "Two Light" solution to the Muslim Taxi Drivers-Alcohol issue has been abandoned. He told me that the impulse for this decision came from the taxi industry.

It appears the taxi companies feared that taxi customers would boycott the Muslim taxis, identifiable by their lights. They also feared that customers would use other means of transportation and thus hurt the company's bottom line. The lession of this story is twofold. First, whenever Moslems can get a pressure point, they will use it to push their religion. Second, if we boycott Moslems and their businesses, we cut their power off.
