Watch Out for Extremists

Reader comment on item: The Enemy Within [and the Need for Profiling]

I am a closet apostate (ex-muslim). My observation from experience is that all very religious muslims in U.S. are anti U.S./west and pro muslims umma, irrespective of their origins. On every issue they blindly take side of muslims whether it is Palestine, Saddam Husain,Taliban or Khomeni. Although most of them may not be militants but they morally and financially support militant islam. They are probably about 10 % of all muslms, but are very vocal and active. They can be generally but not always be distinguished by their beards and hijabs/niqabs. All mosques are breeding grounds for these extremist muslims. A very dangerous trend in them is to go to prisons and convert poorly educated and lower I.Q. prisoners to Islam. These new converts become fanatic anti U.S. muslims since they "are have nots" and are already resentful of the U.S. society. It is in the best interest of U.S. is to stop growth of mosques and to give immigration visas to only highly educated professional secular type of muslims and refuse immigration/visitor visas to the extremist types who poison the minds of others against U.S.
