Jews can never lie low enough - even their graves are desecratedReader comment on item: Jewish Life in an Increasingly Muslim Europe Submitted by Ben van de Polder (United States), Jul 24, 2006 at 18:35 As we see in Lebanon, appeasement and deference , and the "excuse me for living" mentality always backfires . Many Israelis downplay their Jewish dentity and hope their enemies will change their view of them when they show how accomodating they are, displaying a suicidal willingness to give up their Biblical birthright which is the raison d' etre of Am Yisroel. The situation in Norway calls for Jews to stand firm - lying low will only show anti semites that they can be intimidated into submission . The desecration of Jewish graves shows how virulent antisemitism really is . Jews lying 6 feet under are also targets of anti semites wrath. The solution -Jewish pride - starting with the State of Israel asserting their right to life -instead of apologising for living. A nation which denies their culture invites contempt and humiliation. Israel and Jews worldwide are paying the price for Israeli secularism.
