"I know of no other network of people and institutions concerned with the Middle East that has comparable cohesion or power."Somebody needs to tell this guy about a little place called "Saudi Arabia"...

How could one proffer one's self as any sort of academic, while failing to note the copious number of "Prince Faisal Department of"s, and "King Fahd Council on"s?

It's not academic incompetence- it's sheer, unvarnished dishonesty.
