Reader comment on item: [The Hamas Victory and] Prospects for Peace

Submitted by rench (United States), Jan 31, 2006 at 16:54

Wheter Hamas will or can rule the Territories differently than the accepted PA rulers may depend on the wests acceptance of their legitimacy. There is now a defacto Terror state in more or less of the territories of the Palistinian state from the deals in the final days of the clinton peace push. This is the reality. Its the fruit of the failed ideals of the whole peace plan establishment.

Hamas may declare the independence of this state in some way soon. There governing will be more crazed then the ruling Abbas/Arafat era.And i use the word governing loosely.Trouble is so close. We dont even notice it. Its hard to get a grasp on the whole mess, for a accurate analysis.
