Islamic militants vs. moderates

Reader comment on item: [The Hamas Victory and] Prospects for Peace

Submitted by Frank Vosler (United States), Jan 30, 2006 at 21:53

The recent electoral success of Islamic militants in several countries shows that the jihad vision is alive in a large number -- perhaps a majority -- of Muslim hearts. Pres. Bush said he would go after the few terrorists who are hijacking a great and peace-loving religion. It appears that the "few terrorists" are the tail of a very large snake. I hope that Pres. Bush and his advisors are rethinking the task they have put their hand to.
