Reader comment on item: Thoughts on Hamas' Ascendance

Submitted by Keith (United States), Jan 26, 2006 at 14:19

Western promoters of the "peace process" have remarkable resilience when faced with unpleasant truths about their would-be peace partners on the Palestinian side of the wall. They will be no less successful in deluding themselves this time.

They are dismayed at the moment because they don't yet have a set of quotes and sound bites from in-office Hamas-ers with which they can pad reality. Once they get some key pieces of faux-pax rhetoric they'll be on the street peddling the same "peace" they always have.
