Why waste one thousand words to rebut an absurdity.

Reader comment on item: Ukrainian Refugees' Unexpected Impact

Dear Dr Pipes, I am not a Ukrainian. And, thank goodness, I distance myself from anything that qualifies as Islamic. I find it absurd that any non-native European in the world expects them to get as generous help from Europe as the Ukrainians are getting. We, the people of Africa and Asia, are also proud people who do not want European free bees if we can survive without them. And, we are not opportunists like Muslims who will grab anything for free that we can get hold of.

But why should I waste a thousand words fighting an absurdity. I can be brief and direct.
If Saudi Arabia drops the shahada and the sword from its flag and Muslim nations drop 'Islamic' from their constitutional names, then we will have a more even field and we can start talking like friends. Then, free aid to Islamic interests will not be so absurd.
