Dear Readers,

The word "Loan" in Arabic is قرض or Qard. The word "Usury" in Arabic can be either ربا or Riba and it can also be the Arabized word for Usury in Aramaic/Syriac or ܪܸܒܝܼܬ݂ܵܐ or Ribitha and in Arabic is becomes ربوة

Tablighees tell us: Brother, paying interest for loan is haram! Astaghfirullah

However, it seems that Allah breaks his own rules with regard to loans and usury so read and laugh

In Q2:245 it says:

من ذا الذي يقرض الله قرضا حسنا فيضاعفه له أضعافا كثيرة

This can be rendered as:

He from among you will give a good loan to Allah then he (Allah) will double it many times

This means that Allah is asking mere human beings for a loan and he will pay it back with interest of at least 100%! Which means that Allah has no difficulty with human beings asking for loans and paying them back which is clearly what is usury is all about.

And why would Allah asks for a loan? Is he buying a new house? Or may be he is buying a Tesla car?

What a disaster.

This means that Islamic law with regard to loans and interest on loans is not even followed by their Allah.

Care to explain to us our dear Md Shafiq al-Tablighee?
