He clarifies it is not about race or racism (NPR and Brendeis, Jan 2007). Nevertheless his material is heavily criticized on mischaracterization, ignoring Israel's legitimate survival and defense needs and not putting facts into context.

(June 27) Haaretz's Amos Shocken states, the use of apartheid does not have to support any comparison to South Africa under apartheid.

Neve Gordon, who hugged Arafat at his compound in 2002 at the height of Arafat's led terrorists massacring Israelis at intifada and claimed/lied he doesn't know who is resposible for the bombings. In 2007 he castigated student who exposed his lie at his inciting class that there are separate roads supposedly Jews/Arabs when the facts is, roads are for all Israelis, Arab or Jew. Gordon has been accused of being an anti-Jewish racist (Shetman M. "The real racism: Expecting Jews to die meekly," Jerusalem Post, October 28, 2011) as well as implying a support for old blood libel, through his 2018 article.
In Aug 2009 this Gordon called for boycotting Israel.

Rashida Tlaib's guy Maher Abdel-qader, who organized campaign events for her across the country, on Jan 1, 2018, shared a clip on Facebook questioning the Holocaust and dehumanizing Jews. (The Daily Beast, Jan. 29, 2019).
In Aug 2019, she and Ilhan Omar shared a cartoon by the infamous anti-Semitic Arab Carlos Latuff. (Times of Israel, 23 August 2019).

Like the B'tselem guy and Omar Shakir, so is Aida-Touma Suleiman [Sliman] - the Arab elected member of democratic multi-ethnic Israeli Parliament the Knesset. She was accused of spreading a libel, of lying and being a racist by Naftali Bennet in Mar 13, 2020 (and was forced to remove lying tweet) and she has embraced a senior member of PFLP terrorist org. in Sep-2021.
This privileged Arab, stabs Israel in the back and in June-2021 organized an anti-Israel hate propaganda using the 'A' slur and the virtual guest was, of course, the other Arab bigot, Omar Shakir. Her event was inside the building of very democratic, extra tolerant Israel. The irony. In Oct 2021, as Bahraini Arabs visited Israel commemorating a year to 'Abraham Accord', this MK expressed an expression of spitting at those Arabs. The anger.

77% are Jewish, 6% were defined as "other" and 17% - 1,044,000 people - are Israeli Arabs.

While many Israeli Arabs live in mixed towns, and it is impossible to know who they voted for, Palestinian Media Watch did an analysis, based on statistics released by the Central Elections Committee, of the voting patterns in the Arab-only cities, towns, and villages.

The statistics exposed a wonderful democratic reality:

*In the Arab-only settlements, 477,552 Israeli Arabs cast their votes.

*66,812 (17%) Israeli Arabs who live in the Arab-only settlements voted for Zionist parties, while the rest voted for one of the three Arab parties that ran in the elections.

In the overall elections, the three Arab parties, Ra'am, Hadash-Ta'al, and Balad that ran in the elections received a total of 511,379 votes. While Ra'am and Hadash-Ta'al received enough votes to pass the electoral threshold (3.25%), Balad did not.

In the new parliament, the Arab parties will hold 10 seats. There will be 8 Muslims, 1 Christian Arab and 1 Druze.

Conclusion: Israel is a multicultural plurality of its citizens, all of whom – Jews, Arabs, and "others" - have an equal right to vote.
So next time you hear the "Israel=Apartheid" libel, just know, that it lacks any factual basis.

בעוד ערביי ישראל רבים גרים בעיירות מעורבות, ואי אפשר לדעת למי הם הצביעו, Palestinian Media Watch ערך ניתוח, על סמך נתונים סטטיסטיים שפורסמו על ידי ועדת הבחירות המרכזית, של דפוסי ההצבעה בערים, הערים לערבים בלבד, וכפרים.

הסטטיסטיקה חשפה מציאות דמוקרטית נפלאה:

*בהתנחלויות הערביות בלבד, 477,552 ערביי ישראל הצביעו.

*66,812 (17%) ערביי ישראל שמתגוררים בהתנחלויות הערביות בלבד הצביעו למפלגות ציוניות, בעוד שהשאר הצביעו לאחת משלוש המפלגות הערביות שהתמודדו בבחירות.

בבחירות הכוללות, שלוש המפלגות הערביות רע"ם, חד"ש-תע"ל ובל"ד שהתמודדו בבחירות קיבלו סך של 511,379 קולות. בעוד רע"ם וחד"ש-תע"ל קיבלו מספיק קולות כדי לעבור את רף הבחירות (3.25%), בל"ד לא.

בפרלמנט החדש יחזיקו המפלגות הערביות ב-10 מושבים. יהיו 8 מוסלמים, ערבי נוצרי אחד ודרוזי אחד.

מסקנה: ישראל היא ריבוי רב-תרבותי של אזרחיה, שלכולם - יהודים, ערבים ו"אחרים" - זכות הצבעה שווה.
אז בפעם הבאה שתשמעו את עלילת "ישראל=אפרטהייד", רק תדעו שהיא חסרה כל בסיס עובדתי.
