A country is not a roach motel

Reader comment on item: Israeli Arabs: An Existential Danger to Israel
in response to reader comment: Expel disloyal Jews too, and enact an Israeli RICO

You remember the old commercial: Roaches check in, but they don't check out. That's a good policy for bugs, but a very bad one for countries.
Now, in the US, we've seen several million illegals jump the border in violation of our laws. Who are these guys? We're not sure. Most are no doubt fine, but there have been plenty of horribles. At some point, after a rational administration replaces the current non compis mentis woke one, we should clean house and go back to the status quo ante insanity, and expel them.
Israel is much more vulnerable. It is a small country with huge security concerns. Its government has dealt with its illegal migrant problem decisively, but the country is still crawling with pests: gangsters, Islamic terrorists, and Jews who have worn out their welcome through disloyalty and pious uselessness. The net effect is to endanger and burden the long suffering, tax-paying, law-abiding citizenry. A reminder here that Israel was founded to be a refuge, not just an address. That requires house cleaning.
The policy of expulsion needs to be discussed seriously, because in the long run, doing nothing may be more immoral and counter-productive than acting.
