Dear Dr Pipes,

Your comment "It was NOT fun to write" about your book on conspiracy theories made me smile.

On a more serious note is it always true that while actual conspiracies lead to real tangible results, the conspiracy theories try to prove a negation? At least all examples of conspiracy theories cited by Dave in his above letter include a negative word like no, not, or never.
