in response to reader comment: Questions for Dr. Pipes about the effects of Orthodox and Islamic growth in Israel

Watching Israel 'go through the motions' of various plans of successive Prime Ministers attempting to stabilize some semblence of modern governance, even to the extent of watching the calamity of politcal jealousy in jettisoning former PM Netanyahu for Bennett, what was accomplished? The greatest single accomplshment in the last fifty years since the retrival of Mount Moriah in Israel was, finally, the recognition of Jerusalem as Israel's eternal capital. The timing was, in Biblical terms, impeccable. But who needs to be surprised?
The then previous administrations of PM Netanyahu and former American Presidetn Trump accomplished something that many, if not most politicians world-wide thought would never materialize; entire governments were dead set and openly hostile to even the possibilitiy of that ever happening; but its timeing was, as said before, impeccable. To the regret and chagrin of many, even in the Jewish frame of reference, how was this event even accomplsihed: was there an Orthodox purpose served here: how do we ascertain its possibility, let alone the actual event happening on a global scale of historical events? The answer is: timing was not humanly divined. To a greater extent: were any in the Orthodox community even watching the alternative calendar of events? And the potential of there being an Islamic version of how tis might have happened was nil; even less than nil.
Does someone with specific knowledge of the Sabbatical calendar have any sense of how this could be done? Anyone. This topic has been going on for dozens of years and still, no one knows?
Clue; it does not follow the Gregorian calendar either.
So, the world remains clueless and while major implications of global import as the two political arbiters of European versus Asian politcs bicker over how to divide the very same territory that has been fought over for centuries and are now aiming and gaming to do just exactly as it has been done in the ancient times, does anyone really not know how this is going to turn out for Israel? Orthodoxy is the clue; but as noted elswhere in tis forum, it is not the answer. Even Islam pales in comparison to the challenges now confronting Israel: where, oh, where does one need to look to find the answer? The chess pieces are already set: now the question is whose king is the most exposed and most vulnerable; and yes, the battle is at kingdom levels.
