Secular claims to 'Palestine,' even from Roman times, were and always misleading; which is why the battle remains religious versus secular. This is addressed in Jeremiah 23-25, et al, where in various scriptural determinations (and this is prophetic for the issues facing the Jewish leadership today in refereeing between the secularistic political battle with the Haredim and others). Democracy is not the final determinant of Israel's completion as a kingdom. The final claim will be dependent upon who rules in Zion.
