M Tovey: "neither is interference in the process of returning Israel to its Kingdom state going to be tolerated."

You want evangelicals to look at Hebrew scripture. How about this before disparaging evangelical's knowledge of scripture?

1 Samuel 8:4 ff (KJV)
"4 Then all the elders of Israel gathered themselves together, and came to Samuel unto Ramah,5 And said unto him, Behold, thou art old, and thy sons walk not in thy ways: now make us a king to judge us like all the nations. 6 But the thing displeased Samuel, when they said, Give us a king to judge us. And Samuel prayed unto the Lord. 7 And the Lord said unto Samuel, Hearken unto the voice of the people in all that they say unto thee: for they have not rejected thee, but they have rejected me, that I should not reign over them.

(followed by warnings about what human kings would do to Israel and its people)

The Kingdom of Israel was a rejection of God. Saul was a disaster. Until Joseph, Mary and Jesus, the descendants of David were no better than the sons of Samuel, including Solomon later in life.

M Tovey: "the issue of chastisement in the Jewish community has specific direction and reprimands towards those who lead the Children of Israel astray"

This is Christian, so you are free to reject it. Romans 6:1 "What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin, that grace may abound? 2 God forbid...."

The meaning is you don't go astray or let others go astray just so God can forgive (or punish) more. That evil can lead to good is not an excuse for evil. Ends never justify evil means.

Evangelicals support Israel and their support and advice should not be scorned, especially on such shaky theological grounds as yours.
