rationalizing xenophobia

It is a classic example of how racism and xenophobia are rationalized by Western "liberals": pretending to advocate the females', LGBT's, minorities' rights, you putt yourself on the moral higher-ground and give yourself the right to judge the whole nations and a very diverse religious group. Such a stance is not much different from what Islamists, who claim to represent the "true Islam", are doing. Contrary to what Islamists and Islamophobes want us to believe, there is no one manifestation of Islam and there are many believers of Islam who on the bases of this religion fight for universal human rights.
