Whatever Hope for Peace in Arab Peace Agreement Lost in Translation:

If history tells any story about humanity, it is of a violent and inhumane species of life on earth and the propensity for self-destruction is demonstrably articulated in the writings of survivors. Among the regions of the globe that have a seemingly higher propensity for such savagery is arguably the Middle East. See surviving monuments in hieroglyphs, cuneiform, runes and all the other ancient writings, telling of conquests after conquest; and from there, exports of violence began to rule as one follows the tales and trails of bloodshed extending around the globe.
Historical annals of such events had been compiled in various localized theaters of conflicts, but not until the industrial revolution was the slaughter transformed into the monumental conflicts on a world wide scale like that of the World Wars One and Two; but remember the Middle East was not left out of those either. World War One saw the release of one of the more consequential territorial possessions of the entire world, this place being the target of not just one cataclysmic invasion, but two ravages of insatiable desires of conquest; and it's not done yet. The horror of yet more battles for that same location hover like a nuclear cloud.
Recently, the world saw and reveled, even if ever so briefly, about a peace agreement between ancient and historical enemies of that place; and now, the other ancient antipathies are not content to let such a peace breakout. Even as we read of an international enmity amusing themselves with antiquated ideologies that they can still be arbiters of things they do not understand or are willing to let things deteriorate into cataclysmic chaos for the sake of mistaken allegiances; all such things being attributed to a misguided ideology of religious origins that resulted from ancient ambitions of empire, still, as yet, unresolved for pride of rebellious thinking that mankind can rule themselves, all evidence to the contrary.
Yet here is the mistake; humanity does not have the resolve to produce peace; it is an existential condition that mankind cannot produce. Until that can be confessed, no peace situation will be resolved until mankind comes to the end of self confidence (and soon) in order to see the truth of that situation; or perish for the lack of such need for contrition and repentance. None of that is in evidence here, now is it?
