We are now approaching a situation that few have expected when considering how unlikely the prospects of peace agreements are in the Middle East, between Israel and yet another Arab nation in spite of all the anger management issues in the region, and which is now confronting a world that cannot get out of its own way when, because the terms of peace are incomprehensible, people are shocked. As hard as it may seem, an arrangement has been made; and more may follow. How is this possible?
As observed with DNM about some concern as to terms of a 'treaty' being in a 'hudna' frame of reference; if we understand the factiousness between the certain of the Shiite congregation and the Sunni adherents, is there a deeper cause for concern here? May these terms of cessation of hostile intentions and potential friendships be considered durable; or are they temporary?
Classic Quranic studies as discussed in the last post may have some insight; but whose 'Masoretic' dissertations are truly 'canon' for the purposes of determining if the actions of the UAE are considered 'apostate,' requiring action from proper adherence to Islamic law?
What will be the determining factor of how long the 'peace arrangement' will last? After all, the European Union's response to the actions of the United States and Israel making their own deals flies in the face of what the United Nations resolved; how is this peace to be recognized?
