Wahhaj misses the point

The irony, of course, is that Wahhaj's political Islamism ensures that the Islamic world will never return to its glorious past. Islamists seek 7th century solutions to modern problems, as if a return to pre-Enlightenment times will revive Islam's former glories. As Dr. Pipes notes, Wahhaj misses the point. What a stunning omission.
