In one short and succinct sentence, our fellow observer from Belgium provides a compelling point, one that has actually been in action for decades, if not centuries; and this is in a way that provides further insight into the ravages of social dynamics of tribal and national histories. Societal failures inevitably begin from within. All the great societies can trace their demise to the ultimate betrayal of the self. It is innate to the human condition; that pride and self-adulation brings about ruin and can do it in a single lifetime. America is at that threshold.
Babylon, Persia, Greece, Roma, etc., etc.; all were susceptible; so too, within that same time frame there is the Biblical epic of the land of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, a nation and national dialogue of being blessed beyond any other national entity, only to lose it due to the condition of the unfettered heart straying from the heart of Him that chose Israel from the stream of nations: to demonstrate how obedience of the heart brings the blessing and straying in disobedience brings about destruction. Israel is at the threshold of her third round of promises. What is being required this time?
Complete belief is required; that Israel is set to be blessed beyond measure again, yet the litmus test of her allegiance to HaShem is the very issue of the loyal heart is at stake. To make a fine point of it, alternate allegiances like that of the 'Palestinian' population will not be permitted to control the ultimate destiny of the future throne of Israel and the return of Israel's king, Yeshua, ben David. As a further point, it is also written that no Canaanite will ever be allow to enter the capital ever again. The population center of Israel will be only those designated by the Torah to be eligible, with consent of the prophecies.
