Palestinians in the third world

Reader comment on item: Israeli Arabs Say No to Palestine

Submitted by Howard Mednick (Canada), Feb 5, 2020 at 10:58

I was in Israel for 10 weeks last summer and saw evidence that Israeli Arabs are relatively content living in Israel and enjoying the benefits of what that has to offer. It is not perfect but certainly better than the alternative which is to live under Palestinian (mis)rule. I concluded that no peace will come to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict until the Palestinian leadership decides that they will be better off living in the first world with Israel than remaining mired in the third world as they have been for so many years and continue to do what hasn't worked for all that time.
