Reader comment on item: Still Blaming Conservatives for Lee Harvey Oswald

Submitted by Tim Altress (United States), Dec 5, 2019 at 07:23

It's unbelievable that you still don't grasp the simple fact that throughout American history the right wing has done everything imaginable to undermine, thwart, destroy, and derail the progress of this amazing country.

It was your group of slave-loving racists who decided that you did not want to be part of America back in the 1850's. Quite literally, you abandoned the country because no one else would put up with your disgraceful obsession with slaves. Fortunately Lincoln handled things and, after a monumentally costly and devastating civil war, we ALLOWED your group of traitors to rejoin our country. Then you killed Lincoln.

This, as we find out, is the right wings go-to cure for situations they simply cannot accept as reality: you assassinate. You ruin. You destroy. You commit treason. It doesn't matter the level of treachery: the right wing hate America and have proven they are sub-American in character.

Fast forward to Kennedy. Damn straight it was the right wing who killed jfk. Read up on the subject. Get informed. Turn off Fox and stop melting your brain and worshipping your sick, stupid, little-man gods like trump. You are all traitors. Leave our country. We don't want you here. Be gone.

Daniel Pipes replies:

I offer this unexpurgated rant as an insight into the leftist mind.

It's also the very first time I have been accused of killing Abraham Lincoln.
