The conservatives lost the intellectual battle of ideas. This is the fact the majority of conservatives are unwilling or unable to acknowledge. Please note that it was not a political, but an intellectual battle. This loss unavoidably leads to the loss in the political battle as well. Now many of the so-called conservatives appeal to the Government to interfere in the intellectual battle on their side. Very conservative position indeed!
