Reader comment on item: Repairing America's Broken Universities

Submitted by Gordon Jones (United States), Mar 21, 2019 at 14:35

Seeing and experiencing the same thing as Prof. Treadgold, my colleagues and I are opening a new liberal arts college in August of this year. Mount Liberty College will offer a true classical education, grounded in the great books and free inquiry. Located in Salt Lake City, our tuition will be a fraction of that of other, even public, institutions in the area. We are opening with a $20,000 grant from the Sorenson Legacy Foundation, and we will start small (20 students this first year). Reclaiming the true purpose of education has to start somewhere. Here is where we will stand. mountlibertycollege.org.
